Transforming neglected outdoor spaces

Levitt Pavilion Venues
Levitt Pavilion Houston is part of a national network of outdoor Levitt music venues. These venues are managed, programmed, and supported by local Levitt Pavilions, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, in partnership with the host city. The venues are located in public outdoor spaces, typically parks in cities. They are built in challenged public spaces—neglected parks, vacant downtown lots, former brownfields—that are transformed into music-filled community hubs. Each pavilion shares the common mission of presenting 40 free concerts every year, supported by first-rate production crews and state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. All musicians are professional performers who are paid a competitive fee.

Levitt Pavilions facilities are available to other nonprofits, community groups, and schools throughout the year for hosting events such as ticketed shows, charity benefits, civic events, and school performances.
